July Newsletter 2022

July 4, 2022

Dear Beloved,

Happy 4th of July!  We hope all of you are well. I am writing on behalf of my mother, Anna, to update you on the Aureli family and Operation Italy.

Many have been trying to contact us through Pastor Abele’s email address.  We are sorry if your messages have gone unanswered.  We were unaware that people were using this email address to try to contact the Pastor until recently.  I will go through the emails and do my best to respond to each one.  Our mother welcomes encouraging messages from you all to show your love and support.  Anna is not tech savvy but has recently joined Facebook and would welcome you to contact her through her page, Anna Cavaricci.

It is with great joy that I wish to announce that Abele’s daughter Joy Rachel Naomi gave birth to a healthy baby boy.  Liam Abele Aureli Carella was born on June 30, 2022.  This couldn’t have happened at a better time as our mother has been feeling down still for Brother Abele’s death and this has brought her new found happiness.  My sister Joy helps our mother with countless tasks throughout the day.  She has been a source of strength in my mother's healing after my father's death.  We pray that caring for this new life will help our family to continue to heal.

During the past year moral has been low for our mother but with daily calls from her sons she has been able to get through bad times.  Our mother has been a cornerstone for Operation Italy.  The preacher’s wife often plays a quiet part in the formation and preservation of the church.  It often goes unknown that a minister or Pastor must have a strong woman behind them to succeed.  Pastor Abele had succeeded with new churches that he established. He also sowed a seed with outreach, phone calls, messages and recently before his death, sermon videos, which I hope to translate to English in the near future.  Ever since Pastor Abele had the calling to preach the gospel in Italy, my mother has been the welcoming party for many missionaries and pastors visiting Italy.  She would help with laundry and cook wonderful Italian meals.  She has always loved cooking and has blessed brothers and sisters alike with her food. My brother Sam and I  went to visit our mother this past year and was able to get her to make a cooking video https://vimeo.com/665814402.  I welcome you all to click on the link to see my mother cook. My mother will be making some more videos that I hope you all will enjoy.  God uses us in many ways to minister to people. He can use us through preaching, song, reading and yes, food.  She has definitely proven her love for God through the years by ministering through food and hospitality..

I wanted to let you also know that my mother appreciates your continued support.  She continues to need support from you all now more than ever because without Pastor Abele’s visiting the United States, support has been low and times have been tough in Italy with higher costs.  I welcome you all to pledge your support, even a small amount, to help my mother live a modest life being the wife of a missionary and to show her that she is not forgotten.  I know God will speak to your hearts.

With God’s Blessing,

Daniel Aureli
